
José Rodeiro is an award-winning painter, who has obtained major art fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts (1986-87). The Fulbright Scholars’ Program, CIES (1995); The Institute for International Education: Oscar B. Cintas Foundation (1982) as well as the Inter-American-Development Bank, BID (1991), as well as other grants. He has held official artist-residencies in Maryland and Florida.
