José Rodeiro is an acclaimed artist from the New York City metropolitan area, celebrated for his vibrant and transcultural works that blend imagination, history, and spirituality. Born in Ybor City, Tampa, Florida, he has lived and worked in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Northern New Jersey for over twenty-five years. A lifelong painter and scholar, José holds an MFA from Pratt Institute and a Ph.D. in Fine Arts from Ohio University. His art is featured in major collections including The Cintas Collection and The Frost Art Museum, and he has exhibited widely in the U.S. and abroad.
